IRATA stands for “Industrial Rope Access Trade Association”. During an IRATA rope access course you shall be taught the requirements laid out in the Training Assessment Certification Scheme (TACS) to be able to complete an assessment and be deemed competent at your completed level.
At Technical Access Group our instructors have over 15 years of teaching experience and 40 years of work experience between them. The team has developed our training syllabus over the years to strike a balance between hands on and theory-based classroom time. TAG’s facility has been custom made from Pacific Douglas Fir to create a warm and inviting training area which paired with our experienced instructors can emulate any “real world” scenario.
During your IRATA course at Technical Access all of your Rope and equipment are included on the days of your training. As well as refreshments throughout the day. On the Final assessment day there is a buffet style lunch spread. Technical Access also provides lockers, and all of your training material. Each person enrolled on the training course will also receive a Nalgene drink bottle, and TA Tshirt.
