Background

Following a rainy day coffee shop conversation in 2016, about what was seen to be lacking within the Rope Access industry, Technical Access Group was born.

The primary focus was to be on providing the best quality services in Equipment sales, Consulting and Mentoring new and up and coming Level 3’s.

Over the next few years this vision has grown and evolved into what TAG is today.

As we’ve grown in reputation, our training program has had to evolve, allowing us to cater to clients needs.
 
We continue to add new courses to our program such as our Fall Protection and Working at Heights and PPE Competent Inspector courses. We look forward to unveiling more soon.

Pursuit of excellence

With a primary vision for mentoring technicians and raising the standard within the working at height industry. This has naturally led to us building and establishing our growing training program. Bringing in Instructors who share our vision for training and mentoring the next generation of competent and confident rope access technicians, in an environment where they feel welcome and can grow is key to the continuing success of our company.
 
Offering a reliable service for both individual and corporate training.
From the beginning, we run a 6 day programme: 5 days of training with either an Irata or Dual SPRAT/IRATA Assessment on the 6th day.
 
This has enabled us to ensure our students are not only prepared for their final assessment / evaluation but also competent and confident for working in a real world setting.

Our facility

At Technical Access Group our instructors have over 15 years of teaching experience and 40 years of work experience between them. The team has developed our training syllabus over the years to strike a balance between hands on and theory-based classroom time. TAG’s facility has been custom made from Pacific Douglas Fir to create a warm and inviting training area which paired with our experienced instructors can emulate any “real world” scenario.
